The Fluido is a new generation of blood and fluid heater from The 37Company. Indes was involved throughout the project, from analysis to production management, as both project manager and developer. Working with carefully-selected third parties, Indes developed a safe, innovative, and user-friendly product. The Fluido uses infrared technology to heat blood, making it faster and more reliable than existing heaters. The user can set the desired temperature and the intelligent system ensures blood is the correct temperature for the patient – regardless of flow!

Indes simultaneously developed a revolutionary disposable for the Fluido. This disposable has a patented rotating construction whereby blood is rotated to ensure uniform heating, which ensures the blood’s cells remain undamaged.
